Basic Information of Torres del Paine

Torres del Paine National Park covers an area of 181,414 hectares and is located between the Andes Mountain Range and the Patagonian Steppe.
It is located in the province of Ultima Esperanza, commune of Torres del Paine.

Area Management:

The administrative headquarters is located in the Lake Toro sector, at 145 km. Of the city of Puerto Natales and 33 of the main access to the Park (Sarmiento porter).
In the building of the Administrative Headquarters the Visitor Center works, where Environmental Education activities are carried out.
Opening hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Park ranger's office:

Entrance Sarmiento Lake: It is accessed by the main road, is located 114 km. Of Puerto Natales and 36 of Administrative Headquarters.
Hours of attention all year from 8.30 to 20.30 hours.

Entrance Laguna Amarga: 102 km by the main road and then a detour to the right in a northeast direction for 13 km. , In total 115 km. , From Puerto Natales and 38 from the administrative headquarters.
Opening hours: All year from 8.30 to 20.30 hours.

Portería Laguna Amarga: 102 km. por el camino principal y luego un desvío a la derecha en dirección noreste por 13 km. , en total 115 km. desde Puerto Natales y a 38 de la sede Administrativa.
Horario de atención. Todo el año de 8.30 a 20.30 horas.

Portería Laguna Azul: 102 km. por el camino principal y luego un desvío a la derecha en dirección Norte por 21 km. , en total 123 km. desde Puerto Natales y a 58 de la Sede Administrativa.
Horario de atención. Todo el año de 8.30 a 20.30 horas

Guardería Lago Grey: Acceso por el camino principal a 168 km. de Puerto Natales y a 18 de la Sede Administrativa.
Horario de atención todo el año de 8.30 a 20.30 horas.

Guardería Laguna Verde: Acceso por el camino principal, a 85 km. de Puerto Natales, luego un desvío a la izquierda por 25 km. No tiene acceso por el interior del Parque.
