Marble Chapels
We start the tour from your home. From there we will take Route 7, southern southern road, which connects the city of Coyhaique with different locations in the region, a route that covers 220 km to the town of Puerto Rio Tranquilo.
On the route we will make several arrests, one of them is the so-called "El Portezuelo Ibáñez", it bears that name since it is the point of highest altitude between the mountain ranges with 1,120 m.a.s.l. A few kilometers away we will stop at the ?Cosmo del Diablo? viewpoint, famous for being steep and sharp bends, from here we can observe the valley of the Ibanez River and if the weather conditions allow it we can see the famous Cerro Castillo.
We will resume our walk and the next detention will be to enjoy an exquisite breakfast in a privileged area.
On the southern route of this route we will border the Ibáñez River and the Murta River to meet the General Carrera Lake waterfront until we reach the town of Puerto Río Tranquilo. Locality from where we will navigate the turquoise waters of the Lake to know the amazing Marble Nature Sanctuary.
At the end of the navigation we will go to a renowned restaurant in Puerto Rio Tranquilo where you can enjoy an exquisite lunch and that once finished we will resume the course back to the city of Coyhaique.
