DAY 1: ARICA / PUTRE
Start at 10:30 hrs. We will visit the agricultural and livestock market in order to meet a typical market, We will get to the Valley of Azapa along the road we will observe the La Tropilla geograph, then visit the San Miguel de Azapa museum.
We will cross the the Valley of Lluta from where have a view of these two valleys.Lunch in an ecological community ,Ecotruly.
We will appreciate the candelabra cactus and the magnetic zone and visit a pre-incaic fortress in Copaquilla and we will meet a town on the foothills Socoroma at a height of 3.000 mts. above sea level. We´ll do a litlle trek to this settlement for about 1 hour. A little break , arrival at Putre 3.500 mts above sea level at 18:30 hrs. approx.

DAY 2 PUTRE / LAUCA NATIONAL PARK
We will have a breakfast in Putre or Jurasi thermal springs and then we head for El Bofedal de las Cuevas from where we will go trekking for 40 minutes and reach “Bofedales” which are the base of the ecosystem in the high plains.
We will see wild viscachas and vicunas ,the Chungará lake and the Cotacotani lagoons will be appreciated from this point and the trek will take about 3 hours (optional).
Time to enjoy the picnic-lunch in Parinacota town and we will go over the place.

DAY 3 PUTRE / SURIRE SALT FLAT
We will have a breakfast in Putre and go to Surire salt flat, soon afterward we will visit Ancuta and Guallatire two high plains villages at a height of 4.000 mts. at the foot of the active volcano Guallatire.
Arrival at Surire Salt Flat around 12:00 hrs .Visit to Chilcaya after an hour trek to photograph the flora and the fauna with the three species of flamingos existing in this place (Andean, chilean and james) , then we go to Polloreque thermal springs (4.270 mts. a.s.l),rising springs of volcanic origin containing minerals at 80º C

DAY 4 SURIRE SALT FLAT / ISLUGA VOLCANO NATIONA PARK / ENQUEL / COLCHANE
Breakfast in CONAF shelter, trip to Mulluri, Arabilla Lookout, Enquelga. We will meet the Isluga National Park and meet the town and its church apart from an abundance of bofedales, visit the giant cactuses of Rio Grande , the chosen place for the picnic.
Furthermore we´ll observe geological formations of a touching beauty.Arrival at Colchane at 16:00 Hrs approx.

DAY 5 COLCHANE /HUMBERSTONE / HUARA/ PICA
* Breakfast at 08:00 hrs. in Colchane ,later from Cariquima , a small village famous for its weaver-artisans.
We will descend the ravine of La Felicidad (happiness) and stop in the Victoria Lookout that provides a spectacular view to volcanic canyons and rocky places. two other lookouts will be visited Chusmiza and Pachica, the last mentioned is located on the edge of the Atacama desert.
Then we continue on our way to Unitas Hill to observe the biggest geograph in the zone,”The Atacama´s Giant”. Lunch in Huara and then visit to Humberstone and Santa Laura saltpeter mines. Return to Pica town around 17:00 hrs.

DAY 6 PICA / PINTADO LINES / QUILLAGUA / CALAMA OR SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
* From Pica ( 1.325 mts. a.s.l.) *After having breakfast we´ll go walking to La Cocha de Resbaladero, one of the several subsidences used to extract water from the Atacama Desert.
These waters are semi-thermal waters and the community says that contains medicinal properties After this relaxing bath, we head for Pica to visit the Pintado Lines formed by 400 figures in 66 natutal panels representing human beings, animals, birds and abstract drawings.
We will cross the Pampa del Tamarugal National Reserve and reach the Quillagua small village soon afterward. An oasis close to Loa River plenty of crops where the church, the railway station and the customs building stand out.
* We will go across the desert toward Calama or San Pedro de Atacama.

DAY 7 SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA / ATACAMA SALT FLAT / HIGH PLAIN LAGOONS
* At 08.30 hrs. we head from San Pedro de Atacama to south Toconao,an oasis in the edge of Atacama salt flat , then we reach the Socaire town (3.218 mts. a.s.l.) and the high plain lagoons of Miscanti and Meñiques at a height of 4.350 mts. above sea level within the Los Flamencos National Reserve, one of the five areas protected by CONAF.
Return to Socaire for lunch. Descent to Atacama salt flat to visit the Chaxa Lagoons , briny lagoons where the Chilean , Andean and James flamingos feed.
Return to hotel in San Pedro de Atacama

DAY 8 SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA / QUITOR PUKARA / TULOR / VALLEY OF THE MOON
*We will head for Pukará de Quitor dating back to 12th century. It`s an impressive defensive fortress of the Atacama Civilization , later we will visit the Tulor Village that represents the oldest housing vestige in the salt flat ( 800 BC ) and it´s formed by round connected-rooms , there´s a replica of these buildings on the outskirts allowing us to put this into context in situ.
Visit to the most important museum in the zone, Museum Padre Le Paige, lunch in San Pedro de Atacama and in the afternoon excursion into valley of the moon at 16:00 hrs approx., protected area of Los Flamanecos National Reserve which is a folding of the Salt Mountains Range and at dusk it permits to see colors and shades on the Atacama desert. From a 500 mts height dune “Great Dune” we will go trekking along the caves area and observe the sunset.
Return to Hotel in San Pedro.

DAY 9 SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA / ATACAMA / AEROPUERTO
*We head for Tatio´s Geysers at 04:00 hrs in order to reach the geo-thermal field at 07:30 hrs, one of the most important fields in Chile. At dawn we´ll be present to see the water, gases and steam emanations coming from the Mother Nature. –Breakfast.
On the road to Calama we will go across the picturesque towns of Caspana , Chiu-Chiu and have luch in Lasana town.
* Transfer to Airport or Calama.
