VISIT THE CITY OF CUSCO AND 4 RUINS
The City Tour in Cusco, you start between 13:20 and 13:30 with pickup at your hotel and then take the bus and begin our tour of the city, first visit the Cathedral of Cusco where we can see fine colonial architecture, also has paintings of the Cusco School being in number about 300, among other expressions of art.
Second visit to Qoricancha (Sun Temple) where we will have the opportunity to observe one of the most important religious centers of the Inca period on which is built the convent of Santo Domingo.
And finally we visit around Cusco where we will visit four places, residues of the Incas constructions that have remained intact over the years and have been used by the Incas for different activities; Sacsayhuaman (head or marbled head puma) majestic place with impressive works on large stones being the heaviest 120 tons, carried by workers from remote sites Incas, a place where each year is celebrated the famous Inti Raymi or Festival Sun, Qenqo (maze) instead of possibly function caverns here were rituals to the Pachamama, Puca Pucara (red spot) had an administrative and social function, and finally Tambomachay, place dedicated to water.
This tour lasts approximately 4-5 hours after this time will be returning to Cusco and our bus will be leaving near the Plaza de Armas.
