How to get to Valle Nevado

The Valle Nevado ski center, is 46 kilometers from Santiago. Although the distance is short, the average travel time is between 1 to 2 hours from Santiago, along a winding and treacherous winding road, ice and snow. In summer time travel is better, because the road is better and not much traffic

Transfer from your hotel or airport

By car

Take the Costanera Norte highway towards the east until you reach the exit Sur La Dehesa, bends at the light onto Avenida Las Condes to the left and take the road to Farellones. Keep up the curve 40 where you'll find the turnoff to Valle Nevado, from that point take you 15 minutes to get our winter resort.
The carrying and use of snow chains is mandatory, so if you don't have one, you must rent or buy.
The lease costs around $20,000 or US$20. If you don't have the chains, they will inspect it and you will have to pay it back. They control all the vehicles that go up.
