The Baker River that runs through the Aysén region is the largest river in Chile, with an average flow of 870 cubic meters per second. It has an extension of more than 200 kilometers.
The Baker River rises in Lake Bertrand southwest of Lake General Carrera and flows into the sea, next to Caleta Tortel.
